What is All Star Cheerleading?

•All Star cheerleading is an athletic activity that combines elements of gymnastic tumbling, dance, acrobatics and traditional cheerleading skills such as jumps and arm motions.

•Teams consist of up to 36 athletes performing exciting, professionally choreographed 2½ minute routines set to music.

•All Star teams are purely competitive and do not perform any traditional team support or crowd leading duties for sports teams or schools.

•Our teams compete against other All Star teams from across the region and the country at a full schedule competitions between October and May each year, with most teams attending between eight and ten events.

•Team schedules vary. Some teams travel extensively to major competitions, while some primarily compete locally.

•Teams are set up by age-group and Elite offers options to suit every athlete. The age groups offered are: Tiny (6yrs), Mini (6yrs-8yrs), Youth (6yrs-11yrs), Junior (6yrs-14yrs), Senior (10-18yrs) & Open Teams ages vary

•Teams also compete at specific difficulty levels ranging from level 1 for beginners, up to level 5 for athletes with advanced skills. Our training program is designed to help athletes develop their skills and move to higher levels as they grow in the sport.

•All Star is a co-ed activity and is great for boys as well as girls. Some teams compete exclusively in co-ed divisions and some in all-girl divisions.

•All star is a great way for children and young people to improve fitness and co-ordination.

•It is also a great environment for developing confidence and self esteem as well as developing positive life skills, personal values, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Keep in mind Elite is one of the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) gyms in Virginia.
We also have fundraisers to help keep costs down.  


NOVICE TEAMS

TINY TEAM:  6 Yrs old & YOUNGER
       1.  ONE TIME FEES:  Annual Registration Fee $75 (Family $100) / Uniform $200 ($50 used) / Choreography & Music Fee $75 /
            Competition fees TBA (usually do 4 local competitions) / Coaches Travel Fees $25 / USASF FEE $30
       2.  MONTHLY TUITION:  $60 per month due on the 1st day of the month

ALL-STAR & PEP TEAMS

MINI TEAM:  8 Yrs old & YOUNGER
       1.  ONE TIME FEES:  Annual Registration Fee $75 (Family $100) / Uniform $365 ($100 used) / Choreography & Music Fee $125 /
            Competition fees TBA (usually do 6-8 competitions) / Coaches Travel Fees $75 / USASF FEE $30
       2.  MONTHLY TUITION:  $80 per month due on the 1st day of the month.
YOUTH TEAM:  11 Yrs old & YOUNGER / JUNIOR TEAM:  14 Yrs old & YOUNGER / SENIOR TEAM:  Must be 10-18 Yrs old
        1.  ONE TIME FEES:  Annual Registration Fee $75 (Family $100) / Uniform $365-$475 / Choreography & Music Fee $125 /
             Competition fees TBA (usually do 6-8 local competitions) / Coaches Travel Fees $75 / USASF FEE $30
        2.  MONTHLY TUITION:  $130 per month due on the 1st day of the month.  ($110 for Returning Cheerleaders,
             Military, Summer Cheer Program or Siblings)

REC TEAMS

REC TEAM:  All Ages
       1.  ONE TIME FEES:  Annual Registration Fee $75 (Family $100) / Uniform $150 / Choreography & Music Fee $75 /
            Competition fees TBA (usually do 4 local competitions) / Coaches Travel Fees $25 / USASF FEE $30
       2.  MONTHLY TUITION:  $40 per month due on the 1st day of the month

• Level 4 & 5 Athletes we have some scholarships and discounts for these levels that we may be able to apply for the upcoming 2019-2020 competition season! Call or come by and check us out!

• OPEN TEAM Level 4 or higher:
Regular Season (August-April 30th, 2020) Tuition may be able to be worked off by helping to assist younger teams


Regular Season will include 2-4 hours of cheer practice and 1-2 hours of tumbling practice per week for a total of 3-6 hours per week.  (Hours may be increased before competitions)
 

Travel expenses are also not covered. However, the majority of our competitions are in the area and do not require an overnight stay, so travel costs are typically minimal. Competition expenses usually vary anywhere from $75-$120 a competition.
